1. Which accounts does this page cover?
- The Çözüm Hanem resident app (unit owners, tenants and apartment users),
- The ÇözümHanem Yönetim app (compound and building managers, property-management company staff),
- the web resident portal and web management portal accessed with the same account.
The same personal account is used in both apps; deleting the account from one channel closes the entire account.
2. Deleting your account in the app
- Çözüm Hanem (resident app): Settings → Delete My Account
- ÇözümHanem Yönetim: Settings → Delete my personal account
- Web resident panel: My Account → Delete account
For accounts you sign in to with a password, you will be asked to re-enter your current password during the request for your security.
3. How does deletion work?
- You create your deletion request. Your account is not deleted at that moment.
- the 14-day waiting period begins. During this period you may withdraw your request at any time from the same screen; once withdrawn, your account continues to be used as before.
- At the end of the waiting period, your account is closed automatically and the personal data listed below is deleted or irreversibly anonymised.
If you have an unfinished task (for example, an undelivered order or an open work order), your request will not be applied and the deletion screen will show what is blocking it. Once you complete or hand over the task, you can create your request again.
4. What gets deleted?
- Your name, surname, email address, phone number, address, city and district, T.C. identity number and profile description,
- your profile photo,
- your open sessions and device notification records (you will no longer be able to sign in with your account and no notifications will be sent to you),
- your saved list of favorite tradespeople and stores.
5. What is stored and why?
The following records are kept after your account is closed, linked to an anonymised account that no longer identifies you:
- Accounting and payment records (maintenance fee and debt accruals, payments, receipts, cash and bank transactions): not deleted due to the retention obligations under Turkish Commercial Code No. 6102 and Tax Procedure Law No. 213, and for the accounting integrity of your compound.
- Contract and consent records (for example, records of the distance sales agreement and the preliminary information form approved before online payment): retained for at least three years as required by legislation.
- Access and security logs: retained for the period stipulated in the relevant legislation.
- Community posts and comments: not deleted; the author's name appears as "Deleted User". You may also request the deletion of specific posts (see Article 6).
Deleting your account does not remove debts billed to your unit or to you. Unit, owner/tenant and maintenance fee records are records under the responsibility of your management (the owners' association, the property manager or the property-management company); you may also contact your management with any requests regarding these records. Records whose retention period has expired are deleted, destroyed or anonymized.
6. If you cannot access the app
If you cannot log in to the app or no longer use it, send an email titled "Account deletion request" from the email address registered to your account to [email protected]. In your email, state your full name, the phone number registered to your account and which app you use. Once your identity is verified, your request is processed and the outcome is notified to you by email.
Applications under the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) are concluded within thirty days at the latest. For your rights and other application routes, see the KVKK Privacy Notice, and for details on how your data is processed, see the Privacy Agreement.
